Roman was raised in a family of fishermen on Sand Island west of Oahu here in the Hawaiian Islands. He has been surfing since the age of 7, and has had many sponsors over the years. Roman fell in love with paddleboard surfing 8 years ago and has never looked back. He is sponsored by Hulakai and still participates in local surf contests, and wins! Roman has had many careers such as commercial fishing boat captain, professional painting contractor, musician. He has a story for anything and will be the best companion you could ask for on the ocean. He has a big family of grown boys, whom all live here on the Big Island. Roman has lived here on Hawaii Island for over 30 years and would love to show you what the Big Island has to offer. Aloha Nui!!!!
